The Kelly bag came to success when it was first paparazzied on the bumpy belly of Princess Grace Kelly in 1956. During the 20 next years, every woman wanted to buy “Grace Kelly’s bag”. Her name became so linked to the bag that Hermes renamed the “Sac à Dépêches” bag to “Kelly” in 1977.
